Hartwell House is a beautifully restored 17th century stately home. The magnificent rooms are superbly furnished with antiques and hung with fine paintings. The Hotel
There are thirty-six bedrooms and suites on three floors in the main house each aimed at ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of guests. In addition there are ten suites and six bedrooms in Hartwell Court, the adjacent 18th century indoor riding school. The Old Rectory Hartwell has a superbly appointed master four poster with a sitting room and three other bedrooms with bathrooms.
In the restaurant, where the dress code is smart, trainers, tracksuits and shorts are not acceptable, both the A la Carte and daily menus feature seasonal local farm and country produce such as the reintroduction of Aylesbury Duck, together with the hotels own fruit, vegetables and herbs ensuring the freshest of ingredients to enhance all the true flavours of the dishes they prepare.
